Cyclones Win Again

The Listowel Cyclones got back in the win column with a 4-1 victory over the Brantford 99'ers.

Derek Elliot carried the offence with a 3 point night, scoring once and adding two assists. Jamie Huber, Tanner Mighton and Garret James added the other goals.

Listowel outshot the hosts 25-23 with Tyler Fassl stopping 22 shots in the win.

Fresh of the victory the Cyclones head back to Listowel for a Friday night meeting with Elmira. A game you can hear on CKNX.

Playoff watch: 

The first round matchup is already set between the Kitchener Dutchmen and Listowel. Game one goes Wednesday Feb 25 in Kitchener before shifting back to Listowel two days later.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
