Grey Highlands Inaugural Season End In A Loss

The Grey Highlands Bravehearts end their first season in Markdale with a 10-0 loss to Rama to end their playoff run in the first round. The Aces won the series 3-1.

Grey Highlands had sent the series an extra game after a 5-3 home victory but the Aces would not be denied back in Rama.

Bravehearts goalie Giancarlo Kostner made 35 saves in the loss.

This season was the first for the GMHL franchise, now based in Markdale. The Bravehearts came about after the re-location of the LeFroy Wave.

In their first season in Grey County, they posted a record of 18-21-3. Lucknow native Cole MacPherson was among the team's top scorers with 63 points in 40 games.
