Hutchinson Tied for First at OCA Intermediate Championship

Al Hutchinson of Paisley is now tied for first at the Ontario Curling Association's  Intermediate Men's Provincial Championship being held in Walkerton.

Hutchinson fell 8-4 to Ray Balachorek of Oshawa in yesterday's draw. He is tied with three other curlers at 2-1. They are: Cory Heggestad of Innifil, Norm Hewitt of Ottawa, and Rick Thurston of Dundas.

On the women's side, Amie Shackleton of St. Marys is alone atop the standings at 4-0. Shackleton edged Cheryl McBain's Ottawa-based rink 7-6 last night. McBain falls to 3-1.
