Stratford St. Mikes Girls Win Hockey Gold

The Stratford St. Mikes girls hockey team claimed the OFSSA Girls A/AA hockey crown in Kenora this afternoon with a 5-1 win over Fort Frances Secondary School in the gold medal final.

The Warriors were undefeated over the course of tournament and outscored their opponents in the week long event by a total of 40-1.

This is the first OFSSA crown for the team and erases any disappointments from last year when the team won silver in the same tournament.

The team is coached by Mark Flanagan.
