Maaskant Gets 2 Game Suspension

Clinton's Liam Maaskant will miss the next two games after the Kitchener Rangers captain was handed a two game suspension by the OHL.

The overage defenseman was ejected from the Rangers last game against Guelph after taking the feet out from under Storm forward Robbie Fabri.  Kitchener has thee games left on their regular season schedule.  The Rangers will play three games in three nights starting Friday.

Maaskant will be eligible to return on Sunday afternoon when the Rangers are in Sault Ste. Marie.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
