WOAA Senior Hockey Final Set

The Mapleton-Minto 81's will start the Best of 7 WOAA Senior Hockey "AA" Final on the road.

Game 1 is Saturday in Tillsonburg at 7:30pm.

Tillsonburg finished first in the South Division in the regular season the swept Clinton in the quarter-finals and beat Tavistock in six games.  Mapleton-Minto finished third in a competitive North Division.  The 81's needed six games to get by Saugeen Shores then swept Elora.

The 81's have been led by former Owen Sound Attack and Kitchener Ranger Scott Tregunna.  He also has some former Listowel Cyclones teammates including Brent Cochrane, Dan Richardson, Nick Seiler and Al Lamont.  Former Wingham Ironmen goaltender Jason Hamilton has been solid in net, winning 7 of 8 playoff games and has a .925 save percentage.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
