Hawks Look For Second Win In Series

The Walkerton Hawks are on the road in Alliston tonight for Game 2 of the Schmalz Cup Quarter-Final.

Walkerton won the series opener 2-1 on Tuesday.  Both teams struggled on the power play as Walkerton was 1-for-8 and Alliston 0-for-8.  That one goal on the man advantage ended up being the winner as Hawks' forward Ryan Hamelin flew down the right wing and snapped a high shot over Alliston goalie Tyler Brindle.

Both teams expect to have some added fire power back in the line up tonight.  Number 19 Brett Coulson for the Walkerton Hawks and forward Mark O'Donnell of the Alliston Hornets missed Game 1 due to school commitments.

Coulson is averaging over a point a game through Walkerton's playoff run while O'Donnell has 14 points in eight playoffs games.

You can listen to tonight's game on CKNX or listen live at cknx.ca.  If using your mobile device, you can download the Blackburn Radio app.
