Former Cyclone Captures NCAA Atlantic Title

Caleb Cameron has a reason to celebrate in his second year since leaving the Listowel Cyclones for the NCAA. His RIT Tigers from Rochester, New York captured the Atlantic Conference title Saturday.

In the final, RIT beat Mercyhurst of Erie, Pennsylvania 5-1 in the final game. Cameron was +1 on the night with 5 shots.

A native of Sundridge, Cameron totaled 8 goals and 7 assists in 29 games in his second season at RIT.

Spending 2 years in a Cyclones shirt, Cameron was Listowel's top scorer in 2012/13 with 90 points in 48 regular season games. He won both the Midwest division and Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League Most Valuable Player honours that season before he made the jump to Rochester.
