Milverton and Ripley Face Off in Bid For the Finals

The Milverton Four Wheel Drives and Ripley Wolves square off Tuesday night in Game 7 of their WOAA Senior 'A' Semi Final.

Both teams carry some star power. Brent Freeman leads the Drives in playoff scoring with 15 points in 11 games, while Nick Locking has has 14 points in 7 games for Ripley.

In Goal Kurt Edwards has posted 4 wins and 2 losses in 6 games so far in this years playoffs for the Wolves with a goals against average of 4.55 and a .876 save percentage. Chad Nelson has picked up 3 wins and 4 losses so far for Milverton. He has a 4.95 goals against average and a save percentage of .868 heading into the game.

Whoever wins will face the Shallow Lake Crushers who advanced to the final after knocking off the Lucknow Lancers in 5 games.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
