Culltions Even Cherrey Cup Series

A packed Allman Arena watched the host Stratford Cullitons down Elmira 4-2 in Game 2 of the Cherrey Cup.  That ties the best of seven series at 2 with the Sugar Kings.

Each side would score once in the first period while Stratford found their edge in the second. Jared Nash and Shane O'Brien would score to put the Cullitons up 3-1 into the third period.

Brendan Schneider would put Elmira within one in the third period.  That was all the Sugar Kings could manage as the Cullitons' Hayden Broomhead sealed the game on an empty netter.

Game 3 of the series will be played Sunday in Elmira at 7:00pm.
