Hanover Raceway Opens Up For Training

Hanover Raceway Officials are happy to announce a quick spring melt has allowed the track to open up for outside training.

GM Gord Dougan says although there is still a bit of frost coming up in the backstretch, overall the track is in very good shape. Dougan says outside horses can train out of the ship in barn at their leisure, but advises trainers the track will be closed for grading in early May.

Dougan expects grading to be done before May 14th. However a set date has not been announced.

Hanover Raceway will start the 2015 season on Saturday June 6th. Post time will be 7:15pm with a Qualifier day set for May 30th at 11am.
