OHL 'Londesborough Bowl' Continues in Oshawa

Londesborough native Kenny Huether wasn't in the Oshawa Generals lineup Friday night when his brother Ray came into town. The older brother's North Bay Battalion beat Oshawa 6-1 last night in game 1 of the OHL Eastern Conference final.

Ray scored the game winning goal for North Bay to give them a 1-0 series lead. Kenny, a rookie, was a healthy scratch in the game.

The brothers most recently played each other in January, Ray had a goal in a 5-3 loss to Kenny's Generals.

Kenny put up 15 points in 53 games over his first season in the OHL. Ray is in his overage year and contributed 36 points in 66 games. He spent the last two seasons in Sudbury before heading to North Bay.

The next chance for the brothers to meet on the ice is Sunday night in Oshawa at 6:05 p.m.
