North Stars Go Down At Home

The Owen Sound Junior B Northstars' struggles continued Saturday in a 13-9 loss to Niagara. It is the team's 13 loss so far this season.

It started strong for the hosts who pulled out a 6-3 lead at the end of the first. Niagara would score 5 straight to open up the second and never looked back.

Zac Coulter and Jake McNabb each had 4 points to the lead the Northstars offence and Garrett Reed stopped 52 shots.

Now 3-13-1 on the season Owen Sound hosts Orangville in their next game on Thurday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
