UPDATE: Three Game Day For Chepstow

The Chespstow Lang Farm Lightning started a three game run today with a 10-1 win over Nova Scotia.

It was a carry over from Thursday after rain ended the day's action. But the delay didn't affect Chepstow's offense. Second baseman Logan Tolton when 4-4 and scored twice in the five inning game. Tolton is batting .714 for the tournament and was named player of the game. Owen Torrie picked up the win striking out 8 in his five innings of work.

In their second game, Chepstow held on to beat Manitoba 4-1 this afternoon. Desboro's Briten Marcell was the winning pitcher and player of the game.

Chepstow now plays Saskatoon at 5:30pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
