Sting, Marlins Continue To Roll

The Belmore Peewee Sting didn't let wet weather deter their style of play at the Eastern Canadians.

The Sting walked away with an 11-3 win over a Quebec team for their second win of the tournament. The Sting faces the host team, Conception Bay, Nfld., this afternoon. Belmore is now 2-0.

The Palmerston Marlins Bantam girl's team is also rolling at their tournament shutting out Quebec Team 1, 12-0 this morning. The Marlins are also undefeated and will play at 5 p.m.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
