Legendary Guelph Referee Bill Devorski Passes Away

Legendary Guelph referee Bill Devorski passed away peacefully last night after a battle with cancer.
Devorski was a founding member of the Guelph Hockey Referees Association, and served in the OHA for 35 years, eventually being inducted into the Guelph Sports Hall of Fame and the Guelph Gryphons Sports Hall of Fame.
Bill's sons Paul and Greg Devorski enjoyed lengthy NHL careers as a referee and linesman respectively.
The OHL and OHA both released statements expressing their sadness and condolences to the Devorski family over the passing of Bill. He was 85 years old.
