In OHL action:

The Owen Sound Attack fell to the London Knights on home ice last night, the second loss in a row against the Knights despite a lone goal from St. Louis Blues prospect Liam Dunda.

The Guelph Storm were defeated 4-1 in Ottawa.

In GOJHL action:

The Elmira Sugar Kings came out on top last night, defeating the Cambridge Winterhawks 3-1 while the Guelph Hurricanes fell 5-1 to the Brampton Bombers.

In Western Junior C Hockey Action:

The Mount Forest Patriots defeated the Walkerton Hawks 7-4 while the Wingham Ironman garnered a big win last night. They shutout the Goderich Flyers 5-0.

The Mitchell Hawks were victorious last night as well defeating the Kincardine Bulldogs 2-1.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
