Winterhawks Tie It Up in WOAA Semi-Finals

Trent Hawke scored twice, including the game winner as the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks rallied to defeat the Durham Thundercats in Game 4 of their WOAA Senior Hockey League playoff series.

Saugeen Shores found themselves down by a goal heading to the third period for the third straight game, but put four goals on the board in the final frame to take a 5-2 win over Durham.

The Winterhawks had scored just one goal in the previous two games and Hawke says it was nice to break out offensively.

"It was just a good team effort, [we] played hard all game, just like every other game and tonight we finally got the results we wanted," says Hawke.

The best-of-seven quarterfinal series is now tied at two games apiece and will resume with Game 5 next Friday in Durham.
