Western Jr. C Final Resumes

The see-saw battle continues between the Kincardine Bulldogs and Walkerton Hawks tonight.

Game 3 of the Western Jr. C Final is in Walkerton at 8:30pm with the series tied at one.

So far in the series the teams are close statistically. Kincardine is 4-15 on the power play while Walkerton is 5-20. The Bulldogs have the advantage in shots, out shooting Walkerton 60-48 in the two games so far.

On the scoring front, Kincardine has done what it's done all season, score by committee. Three players scored Kincardine's goals in Game 1 and then three different players scored Kincardine's goals in Game 2. For Walkerton, scoring is spread out too, although the league scoring champ for this season, Lachlin Elder, has four goals in two games highlighted by the hat trick in Game 2.

Tonight's game is the first of three straight for the clubs. They will play Game 4 tomorrow night in Kincardine at 7:30pm and Game 5 in Walkerton on Sunday at 2:50pm.

Tonight's game starts at 8:30pm in Walkerton and you can listen to it on CKNX starting with The OHA This Week at 8pm followed by the pregame show at 8:25pm.
