Clinton Radars Clinch Championship Title

The Clinton Radars built up a 4-0 lead over Mapleton-Minto through the first period and a half of Game 4 but had to fight off a second period charge to win 7-3.

The sweep ends the "AA" Championship series that saw the top team in the south, Clinton, take on the top team from the north.

Tyler Doig and Kurtis Bartliff provided a one-two punch for the Radars, leading the playoffs in scoring with 33 and 30 points respectively.

In Game 3 of the "A" Championship series, Tillsonburg beat Ripley 2-1 to take a 2-1 series lead. Game 4 is April 1st in Ripley at 8:30pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
