9th Annual Seaforth Country Golf Classic Under Way

The 2015 Seaforth County Classic Champion has got a battle on his hands.

David Markle along with past Champion Derek Gillespie and Brendon Leonard from Cambridge shot 66 on Friday to sit one behind Dan Bowling from Mike Weir's hometown of Brights Grove after day one of the 9th annual Seaforth Classic.

Today is the final day of the two-day no cut event and this year's trophy is definitely up for grabs.

Michael Gligic sits one stroke back at 67 and with several players within striking distance at 68.

Local amateur Logan Lammerant finished at even par 70. Final presentations and festivities to follow the golf about 5 p.m.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
