Milverton Women's Team Looking For Sponsors

The Milverton AW Millwright Intermediate Ladies softball team is raising money for its trip to Nova Scotia for the Eastern Canadians.

The team went 6-0 and won gold at the PWSA Tier 2 Grand Championships in Owen Sound last weekend. Milverton beat Peterborough 8-3 in the final.

The Eastern Canadians are in St. Croix, Nova Scotia August 18th thru 21st.

The team is hosting an "All You Can Eat" Spaghetti dinner at the Perth East Rec Complex, in Milverton, on Monday, August 15th between 5 and 8pm and it's by donation.

There will also be a silent auction.

The team is also looking for sponsors.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
