Quebec's Leblanc Playing Well At Manulife Classic

Sherbrooke Quebec's Maude Aimee Leblanc was one of four Canadians to make the cut at the LPGA's Manulife Classic in Cambridge yesterday.

Leblanc finished one-under on Friday to sit at four-under for the tournament, but more significantly she's playing the best golf of her career right now. At the Manulife tournament in 2014 Leblanc averaged 306 yards per drive but said in every round she had at least one hole where she exploded, and that inconsistency was hurting her. She says she's taken the driver out of her bag now and what she's losing in distance she's making up in accuracy.

Leblanc adds she's also learned to be more patient, simplify her game and play smart, and it's working.
