The Elmira Sugar Kings fought back for a 2-1 win over Caledonia in Game 1 of the Sutherland Cup semi-final.
Klayton Hoelscher scored on the power play 17 seconds into the third to tie the game and Jacob Black scored the winner at 14:05.
Jonathon Reinhart made 30 saves in the win.
Caledonia's lone goal was scored in the second period and that was an even strength goal as the Corvairs went 0-for-3 on the power play.
Game 2 is Sunday night in Elmira at 7:00pm.
