Emily Branderhorst of the Saugeen Track and Field Club won a bronze medal in the Women's High Jump at the Canadian Junior Track and Field Championships last night with a personal best effort of 1.73m in a very tight competition.
Other Championship STFC performances included Molly Boley finishing 5th in the Women's Discus (38.71m), Tony Elliott 10th in Men's Discus (39.69m) and Madelyn Eyebergen 11th in Women's High Jump (1.50m). Madelyn jumped 1.61m in the qualifying round on Thursday in order to earn the right to compete in the finals.
Today Hannah Diebold competes in hammer and Tony Elliott goes into the hammer circle on Sunday.
