Silver Finish For St. Anne's At OFSAA

The Eagles will fly home with a silver medal from Timmins.

St. Anne's girls hockey team faced ÉSC L'Escale from Rockland in the final and lost 2-1 in overtime.

The Eagles were 3-0 in the round robin and beat Belleville 6-2 in the quarter-finals and Fort Frances 3-0 in the semi-finals.

The team was the second seed at the tournment after going 7-1 in the regular season and 22-4 overall.

L'Escale was the top seed in the tournament.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
