Barons push for wins to end season

The Hanover Barons solidified home ice for the first round of the PJHL Pollock Division playoffs with a 6-3 win over the Goderich Flyers.

The Barons jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the first period thanks in part to two power play goals.

Hanover never looked back from there scoring twice in the second then adding an empty net goal in the third period.

Six different players scored for Hanover; Noah Johnson, Derek Cornfield, Brandon Richardson, Brock Phillips, Tyson Lina and Jorden Reaman.

The win gives Hanover 36 points on the season and they will wrap up their regular schedule in Walkerton Friday night, the team they could possibly face in the first round of the playoffs.

For Goderich, they will travel to Kincardine Friday night for their final regular season game.
