Barons vs. Hawks and Bulldogs vs. Hawks in first round of playoffs

The Kincardine Bulldogs will host the first game of a Best of 7 against the Mitchell Hawks in the Pollock Division playoffs.

Kincardine finished the regular season in third place, Mitchell was sixth.

The Bulldogs finished their season winning 7 of their last 10 games.

Game 1 of the series is Friday, February 1 at 8:25 p.m. at the Davidson Centre.

The rest of the series is as follows: Game 2 - Saturday, February 2 at 7:10 p.m. in Mitchell Game 3 - Sunday, February 3 at 3:35 p.m. in Kincardine Game 4 - Wednesday, February 6 at 8:30 p.m. in Mitchell Game 5 - Friday, February 8 at 8:25 p.m. in Kincardine (if needed) Game 6 - Sunday, February 10 at 4:10 p.m. in Mitchell (if needed) Game 7 - Thursday, February 14 at 8 p.m. in Kincardine (if needed)

 

The Hanover Barons will face the Walkerton Hawks in the first round of the Pollock Division playoffs.

The Barons, who finished 4th in the regular season, will host Game 1 on Friday, February 1 at 8 p.m.

The rest of the series is as follows: Game 2 - Saturday, February 2 at 8:20 p.m. in Walkerton Game 3 - Tuesday, February 5 at 8 p.m. in Hanover Game 4 - Friday, February 8 at 8:20 p.m. in Walkerton Game 5 - Saturday, February 9 at 8 p.m. in Hanover (if needed) Game 6 - Sunday, February 10 at 1:20 p.m. in Walkerton (if needed) Game 7 - Tuesdday, February 12 at 8 p.m. in Hanover (if needed)

 

The third playoffs series has yet to be set as Mount Forest and Wingham will play Thursday night in Mount Forest to determine first place.

Either Mount Forest or Wingham will face the Goderich Flyers depending on who takes the first round bye.

The Mount Forest - Wingham game is Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. in Mount Forest and can be heard on Cherrey Buslines OHA Hockey on CKNX.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
