Provincial honours for the WOAA

The Western Ontario Athletic Association has been awarded the Sandy Hawley Community Service Award by the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame.

The WOAA will join inductees at a gala on October 21 in Toronto.

The list of 2019 of Hall of Fame Inductees is as follows: Angela James, hockey Denis Potvin, hockey Dwayne De Rosario, soccer Jack Donohue, basketball Joe Primeau, hockey Paul Beeston, baseball Paul Henderson, sailing

And the award winners are: Syl Apps Award for Ontario Athlete of the Year 2018 As chosen by you: Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir Sandy Hawley Community Service Award Western Ontario Athletic Association Brian Williams Media Award Jerry Howarth Prentice Family Legacy Award Dr. Frank Hayden
