Mount Forest takes series lead

Jacob Miller scored a hat trick to lead the Mount Patriots to a 5-3 win over Alliston to go up 2-1 in their playoff series.

Mount Forest didn't waste anytime and jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first period.

Alliston would eventually claw their way back to tie the game.

Both teams would exchange goals before Mount Forest went ahead for good.

Both teams played a very fast paced game, trying to create odd man rushes including a 2-on-0 for Alliston  in the second period. But goalie Aiden Quish stopped the shot.

Game 4 is in Alliston on Monday at 7:30 p.m. and can be heard on CKNX AM 920 and cknx.ca.
