Exeter Hawks ready for first ever Schmaltz Cup semi final

The Exeter Hawks are preparing to go to a place they’ve never been as a franchise.

For the first time, they will play in the PJHL Schmaltz Cup semi finals after winning the Western Conference Final 4-3 over Lakeshore. The Hawks’ Head Coach Ryan Shipley says it’s exciting for the team, especially after years of hard work.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
