Conners tied for 15th at Tour Championship

Listowel's Corey Conners is tied for 15th after the opening round of the PGA's Tour Championship.

Conners is at 3-under 68 and seven strokes back of the lead. It's a three way tie right now between Xander Schauffele, Brook Koepka and Justin Thomas.

Conner's opening round included a 24-foot put for birdie on his first hole. He also birdied the 7th and 13th holes and shot a bogey on the 11th for a 2-under on the round. With his FedEx Cup ranking of 23 factored in, Conners sits at 3-under. First ranked Thomas got a 10 stroke lead over the field and finished his opening round at even par.
