Brucefield natives to represent Canada at 2019 Deaflympics

Two Brucefield natives will be representing Canada at the 2019 Winter Deaflympics this year.

Jesse and Cody McIntyre have both been named to Canada's Deaf Hockey team for the Deaflympics to be held in Valtellina and Valchiavenna, Italy. It will be the 19th edition of the Deaflympic games.

The games will begin on December 12th and run until the 21st. Besides hockey, the games will feature Alpine skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Curling and Snowboarding.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
