Team Cottrill jump up the national mixed doubles curling rankings

A pair of local mixed doubles curlers have risen the national rankings.

Shawn and Katie Cottrill, who curl out of the Wingham Golf and Curling club, have risen up to 6th overall in the national mixed doubles curling rankings. The pair won a weekend event in Boucherville, which vaulted them up to being just outside the top five. The Cottrills have had a great season, and are hoping to continue their climb up the national rankings.

Jocelyn Peterman of Calgary and Brett Gallant of Newfoundland remain the top ranked mixed doubles team.
