Listowel banking OT minutes

For the fourth time in six games this season, the Listowel Cyclones went into overtime and beat Brantford 3-2 in double overtime.

Rylan Bowers with the winner, one of two goals on the night for him. Tyler Hotson also scored for Listowel.

Bowers leads the team in scoring with six points in the early part of the season.

Dixon Grimes made 26 saves for his fourth win of the season.

The Listowel Cyclones will host Waterloo on Friday, the feature game on Cherrey Bus Lines OHA Hockey on CKNX. On Sunday, Listowel will play in Elmira.

In other GOJHL actions, Elmira beat Brampton 5-1 and Cambridge iced Waterloo 4-1.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
