GOJHL: Cyclones and Dutchmen earn wins

Listowel 4 Stratford 1 Carter McLlwain struck twice in the Cyclones 4-1 win over Stratford. Craig McKague and Tyler Hotson also found the twine for the Cyclones. Sheldon Pryce was the lone scorer for the Warriors.

Josh Schindler set up two of the Cyclones goals.

Kitchener 8 Brantford 3

Nathan Smilsky set up four for the Dutchmen as Kitchener topped Brantford 8-3.

Kyle Kennery struck twice and had an assist for Kitchener. Braeden Bowman had two goals in the win. Mitch Lee and Sean Kawalec scored and added two helpers each.

The Bandits were led by Brenden Anderson with two goals.

Chatham 3 St. Marys 2

Cayse Ton struck twice but it wasn't enough as the St. Marys Lincolns fell 3-2 to Chatham.

The Maroons got goals from Tate Bowden, Braedon Caetano and Dallas Maurovic.

Elmira 5 Brampton 1

Mason McMahon struck twice and set up another in Elmira's 5-1 win over Brampton.

Kurtis Goodwin and Hunter Dubecki each scored and had two assists for the Sugar Kings.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
