Ironmen to host blood donation night

The Wingham Ironmen will be hosting a blood donation event to support Canadian Blood Services.

On Sunday, November 24th, the team will have an honourary puck drop and information booth set up at their game at the North Huron Wescast Community Complex. Game time is 8 p.m. versus Kincardine.

Representatives from the team will then donate blood and welcome other donors to the Wingham Donor Centre at the complex on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Both events will encourage residents to give blood to help patients.

Ironmen General Manager Wayne Johnston will be among the team reps at both events, and fans will have an opportunity to meet and interact with players and staff on both dates.
