OHL: A close win for Kitchener; narrow defeat for London

Peterborough 3 London 2

Antonio Stranges put the Knights to within a point with his second goal of the game just past the midway point of the third but London couldn't tie the game and lost 3-2 to Peterborough.

Liam Kirk's power play goal at 5:16 of the final frame would stand as the game winner. Hudson Wilson and Nick Robertson also scored for the Petes.

Kitchener 4 Windsor 3

Francesco Pinelli scored the game winner with 4:30 left to play an Kitchener edged Windsor 4-3. Pinelli also had an assist in the win.

Axel Bergkvist and Liam Hawel also scored and had helper for Kitchener. Jonathan Yantsis had a power play goal in the win.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
