Cyclones forward Bowers scores in OHL debut

A Listowel Cyclones player achieved an amazing career milestone over the weekend.

Listowel's leading scorer, Rylan Bowers, was signed by the OHL team that drafted him, the Mississauga Steelheads, this past Saturday, and he then proceeded to score his first OHL goal in his first game on Sunday against Sudbury. Bowers opened the scoring in the first period with a power play marker, and the Steelheads would go on to win 3-1 over the Wolves.

Bowers was a 12th round pick of Mississauga in the 2018 OHL draft, getting picked 238th overall. This year Bowers leads the Cyclones in goals and points with 14 goals and 30 points in 33 games.
