PJHL Pollock Division awards

Mount Forest's Riley Cribbin is the MVP of the PJHL Pollock Division for the 2019-2020 season.

His 86 points was the best not only in the division but across the PJHL. The Drayton native had 39 goals and 47 assists through the campaign. He was also named Top Scorer.

On the defensive side, Wingham Ironmen goalies Devin Carson and Garrett Golley combined for the best Goals Against through the season. Devin Carson had 2.33 GAA in his 25 appearances through the season. Golley's GAA came in at 2.76 in 16 gmaes.

Top Defenseman was Logan Swanton of the Kincardine Bulldogs. While being a key piece on Kincardine's defense in all situations, he came third in team scoring at 32 points.

Coach of the Year is Todd Norman. The former Listowel Cyclone's assistant coach took over the Kincardine bench and led the team to a third place overall finish in the division, partly with the help of a 6-2 record down the stretch.

Rookie of the Year honours was given to Ryan Goetz of the Hanover Barons. The forward from Arthur finished with 23 points, sixth in team scoring, and helped the Barons to a strong finish.

Most Sportsmanlike was awared to Mount Forest Forward Jack Birkett.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
