Bulldogs march back for win in Goderich

The Kincardine Bulldogs have a 3-1 lead in their PJHL Pollock Division Quarter-Final with Goderich after coming back for a 4-3 win in Game 4.

Veteran Mike Fiegehen took centre stage in the win with a hat trick.

He opened the scoring in the first and Kincardine ended the first 20 minutes with a 1-0 lead.

The Flyers were able to build a 3-1 lead by the end of the second period. Kaden Hoggarth and Jeff Fritzley scored on the power play and Chad Treble scored on a penalty shot. But then penalty trouble for Goderich late in the third period as they went down a player with under a minute to play in the period.

To start the third, Goderich was flagged for another infraction and that's when Mike Fiegehen took over. He scored once on the ensuing 5-on-3 then again on the 5-on-4. Two power play goals within the first minute and a half of the third period. Jerrid Fossold notched the winner midway through the period.

Game 5 is in Kincardine Friday night.

Two other series continue Wednesday night with Wingham in Walkerton at 7:50 p.m. for Game 4 and Wingham up 3-0 in the series. Mitchell is in Hanover 8 p.m. for Game 4 and the Hawks up 3-0 there.
