Former Listowel Cyclone secures NCAA scholarship

Former Listowel Cyclones centre Brayden Krieger has secured an NCAA scholarship.

Krieger's current Junior A team, the Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League, made the announcement on Twitter last night. Krieger will be attending Bowling Green State next year for his freshman season. This year, Krieger has 32 goals and 53 assists for 85 points in just 52 games for Brooks, good for second in team scoring.

Last season, Krieger played 48 games for the Cyclones, posting 84 points in 48 games.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
