Pollock Division Semi-Finals start Wednesday

The Mount Forest Patriots will finally get on the ice for the playoffs starting on Wednesday.

The Patriots are coming off a first round bye and haven't played since back to back nights on February 1st and February 2nd when they beat Mitchell 6-2 and 4-2. Their opponents will be the Mitchell Hawks. Mitchell is coming off a sweep in the quarter-finals versus Hanover.

(1) Mount Forest Patriots vs. (4) Mitchell Hawks Game 1 - Wednesday, February 19 in Mount Forest at 8:30 p.m. Game 2- Saturday, February 22 in Mitchell at 7:15 p.m. Game 3- Sunday, February 23 in Mount Forest at 7:30 p.m. Game 4- Wednesday, February 26 in Mitchell at 9:00 p.m. Game 5 - Saturday, February 29 in Mount Forest at 8:00 p.m. (if needed) Game 6 - Sunday, March 1 in Mitchell at 3:10 p.m. (if needed) Game 7 - Wednesday, March 4 in Mount Forest at 8:30 p.m. (if needed)

 

The Wingham Ironmen and Kincardine Bulldogs will meet in the PJHL Pollock Division Semi-Finals starting Friday in Wingham.

Wingham is coming off a sweep against Walkerton while Kincardine needed five games to get by Goderich.

There has been a lot of time between head-to-head games for these clubs. The last time these two teams met was January 19 and Kincardine won that game 3-2 in overtime. Before that it was December 21st and Wingham came away with a 4-3 win at that time.
