Owen Sound sneaks by Windsor

The Owen Sound Attack coughed up a two goal lead but pulled it out in overtime and beat the Spitfires in Windsor 3-2.

Matthew Struthers and Mark Woolley gave Owen Sound the 2-0 lead by the end of the first period. But the Spitfires scored the only goals of the second and third to tie the game.

St. Marys native Kaleb Pearson scored the winner at the 4:58 mark of overtime. That's his fourth goal in four games and he has 28 on the season.

Owen Sound currently sits 7th in the Western Conference and the win over Windsor pulls them to within two points of Guelph.

The Attack has eight games left on its regular season schedule with their next contest at home versus London Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
