Curling event in Port Elgin names title sponsor

The 2022 Ontario Tankard to be held in Port Elgin has a title sponsor.

Port Elgin Chrysler has been named the sponsor for the event to be held at The Plex in Saugeen Shores from February 9 through 13 next year.

Steering Committee Chair Doug Flowers says this is an exciting announcement.

“The title sponsor of such events is often a major national corporation and the benefits are seldom tangible to the local community. Port Elgin Chrysler is a local business, and we trust that their investment will generate great returns to them as a sponsor and, in turn, to our community. It is thrilling to have them onboard,” stated Flowers in a release issued Wednesday evening.

Craig Beck is the Dealer Principal and Owner of Port Elgin Chrysler.

“Being a community-driven organization, Port Elgin Chrysler is extremely proud to be the title sponsor in bringing this prestigious curling event to Port Elgin in February 2022.”
