Barons sign former Cyclones players to bolster their roster

The Hanover Barons have made some significant additions to their roster for the upcoming season.

The team announced via Twitter that new GM Blair Butchart has signed former Listowel Cyclones forwards Trent Verbeek and Jonah White. Verbeek was part of the Cherrey and Sutherland Cup winning Cyclones squad in the 2017-18 season, amassing 61 points in 98 career GOJHL games, all with Listowel. White joined the Cyclones in the 2018-19 season, and in 2 full seasons with Listowel, he put up 49 points in 96 games.

White was a product of the Waterloo Wolves minor hockey AAA program, while Verbeek hails from the vaunted local Grey-Bruce Highlanders AAA association.
