GOJHL unveils regular season schedule

The Greater Ontario Hockey League has unveiled the regular season schedule for the 2021-22 campaign.

In a release on August 23rd, the league announced that the 625 game schedule will see all 25 clubs compete in a 50 game season. The Buffalo Regals once again chose to not participate in the upcoming season due to border and COVID-19 restrictions. Opening night will be September 24th with 7 games slated for the much anticipated start of the year, which takes place after the last meaningful GOJHL contest was held on March 12th, 2020.

The KW Siskins will host the GOJHL’s Top Prospects/Future Stars event at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex in late December. The GOJHL Showcase will return to the Meridian Community Centre in Pelham in 2022, from Friday, January 21st to Sunday, January 23rd. Each club will play two games in front of OHL, U SPORTS, NCAA and NHL scouts.

The 2021-22 season will wrap up on March 13th, 2022.
