OWHA follows vaccine mandate

In a post from the OWHA, the association is following a vaccine mandate that affects players, coaches, trainers, volunteers or anyone else involved in OWHA sanctioned events.

Association officials met with the province's chief medical officer of health on Monday.

After that meeting, the OWHA released a statement that everyone born in 2009 and earlier must be fully vaccinated no later than November 1.

The only exemption from the requirement is for two specific medical reasons. And the full policy reflecting the rules will be posted on OWHA’s website.
