PJHL prospects skate in Orillia

At the first PJHL Prospects Day in Orillia, the East edged the North 2-1.

Goderich Flyer Keegan Greer scored the lone goal for the North while Hanover Baron Austin Griffin picked up an assist.

Kincardine Bulldog Ryan Tanner stopped 16 of 17 shots in 29:19 of play.

Other local players on the North team included Nate Bloemberg (Wingham), Aaron McGuirk (Mount Forest), Seth Huygen (Mitchell), Alex McGillivray (Hanover), Ben Nauta (Kincardine).

The second PJHL Prospects day will be played in Norwich on December 18 and feature the West and South.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
