Team Howard wins tankard

Team Howard won the Port Elgin Chrysler '22 Ontario Tankard presented by Bruce Power.

The rink from Penetanguishene was able to overcome a 3-1 deficit to beat Team Epping 5-3.

The Howard rink scored the first point of the game in the first end. Then Team Epping responded in the second and scored three.

There was no scoring until the seventh end when Team Howard tied it up at two. The team would then add one in the ninth and one in the tenth to seal the win.

Howard will now represent Ontario at the 2022 Tim Hortons Brier in Lethbridge, Alberta starting March 4th.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
